Southbank Riverwalk Bulkhead Replacement

The Southbank Riverwalk Bulkhead Replacement Project was a critical infrastructure improvement initiative along Jacksonville's downtown waterfront. The project focused on replacing aging and deteriorated bulkhead structures to stabilize the riverwalk, enhance public safety, and support long-term resilience of the St. Johns River shoreline.
This effort was essential not only for preserving the structural integrity of the riverwalk, but also for maintaining one of Jacksonville's most active public spaces, which serves pedestrians, businesses, and the broader community.
